School of Arts and Sciences Dean Rebecca W. Bushnell has announced the appointment of President Amy Gutmann to the Christopher H. Browne Distinguished Professorship in Political Science.

Camille Zubrinsky Charles, professor of sociology, has been named the Edmund J. and Louise W. Kahn Term Professor in the Social Sciences. Her research interests include racial attitudes and intergroup relations, racial residential segregation, urban inequality, minorities in higher education, and racial identity.
Larry Gladney: Edmund J. and Louise W. Kahn Professor for Faculty Excellence
Gladney
Larry Gladney, professor of physics and astronomy, has been appointed the Edmund J. and Louise W. Kahn Professor for Faculty Excellence. Dr. Gladney’s research interests in experimental particle physics and astro-particle physics and cosmology focus on understanding the fundamental connections between matter, energy, space and time.
Harbir Singh: Vice Dean for Global Initiatives at Wharton

Wharton Dean Thomas Robertson has appointed Dr. Harbir Singh as the new Vice Dean for Global Initiatives. In his new role, Dr. Singh will champion the Wharton School’s global activities including research, education and knowledge dissemination.
